Side-effect of working at Boss Key Productions is my incapability to keep this updated. Having a blast tho.
Things that happened:
Lemma came out. I did some sound design and music for it. Game is here and soundtrack is here.
I did the music/most sfx for MicRogue which finally came out.
Robots Need Love Too (which I did music/sfx for) is now totally free.
I got a tattoo of a shamrock in memory of my brother. It was designed by my girlfriend Vanessa Y Nichols and inked by my old friend Justin Pope
also:
Nova-111 is coming out soonish. HOLD ONTO YOUR BUTTS.
Robots Need Love Too is now on Android! I did the music and SFX and technical sound design! You can also can download the soundtrack album for free! Grab it on Bandcamp.
I also did an audio test for Wargaming which was super-fun! Check it out:
And finally I did a demo video of making synth swooshes in Whoosh:
I did the music, sound design and Wwise implementation on this Unity title for iOS (and soon Android). I wrote a short article on Gamasutra about working on the project.
Its a Chu Chu Rocket sort of sliding puzzle game. The game is even featured on Audiokinetic's front page and customer page! Personal goal achieved.
So PAX Prime 2014 was fantastic! Spending 4 days showing off Nova-111 took a lot of energy! I got to see a bunch of friends, made new friends, got to see my friends games, and saw cool new games and made liberal use of open bars.
We had spots in the PAX 10 booth and the Indie Megabooth and both were really great places to show off the game for different reasons. It was great to watch people experience my music and sound design that I have been working on for so long!
I hope to get to go back to PAX next year for Nova-111 or maybe even multiple games!
